SINGAPORE UNFORGETABLE HOLIDAYS!
Singapore means “the lion’s city,” and its symbol is Merlion, a lion with a fish tail that once dominated the center of its harbor. Merlion is still there, only around the landscape has taken off. Just opposite the dragon, as the locals call it, the triple towers of Marina Bay Sands. Inside, they operate a luxury hotel, restaurants, bars, offices, shops and the much-discussed casino where local people are forbidden. This very condition was also allowed to operate in a country that renounces gambling. The “dragon” sees an artificial forest with ladders and overpasses, which at night illuminates with thousands of LED lamps.
At the foot of the sky, there is the so-called Buddha’s palm, a reversed hand that houses the Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Opera, whose shell refers to the exotic fruit of Durrians, a floating platform for concerts, a floating soccer field also serves as a finish at F1, a Louis Vuitton floating store. Still, a wheel reminiscent of the London Eye and in the background “City”, a forest of skyscrapers with hotels, banks and insurance companies.
The ideal place to enjoy it all with panoramic 360-degree views is the relaxed colonial-style armchairs on the terrace of the old Fullerton hotel with a cool cocktail, European music and free-to-air showers. Spectacular laser lasers begin every night around 22.00. Around the tourist bays there is a permanent feast in eternal summer conditions, with the drones dancing with pomegranates from colorful led tails. Heat, sea and sky are the only things around us that are not made by human hand.
The city crosses main metro lines, which are more than enough to reach the visitor attractions and places of interest. Wagons, high-altitude and huge, are oversized in relation to European ones, while the train is automatic, without a driver.
