Prague 5 days !
DAY 1: ATHENS – PRAGUE (EXCURSION OF OLD TOWN)
Concentration at the airport and flight to Prague. Arriving in the “Golden City” and meeting with our local guide, boarding the bus and touring begins with “Little Place” (Malá Strána), one of the oldest historical districts in Prague. Then we will visit the imposing baroque church of Ag. Nicholas, we will walk from the scenic Gothic bridge of Charles through the medieval streets of the Royal Road to the Old Town Square, the Town Hall and the famous astronomical clock and the Apostolos Parade as well as the square of the historical center of Prague. After the tour we will have lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy the traditional local cuisine. Then we will be transferred to our hotel. In the evening, have fun in typical Czech beeries with local specialties and beer production or at Prague’s famous jazz clubs.
Day 2: PRAGUE – (CESKY CROWN Optional)
Breakfast at the hotel and the day is free. Our proposal is a one-day excursion to the second most beautiful city after Prague, in “Cesky Krumlov”. Voltava River torrents run in many parts of this medieval city, which, like Prague, is on the list of Unesco’s preserved cities. It is a cultural gem with the very well-preserved Gothic and Renaissance style buildings, its churches and narrow streets. The walls of Krumlov enclose treasures of particular architectural and cultural value such as the “hidden bridge”. Visit the castle of the city and admire the panoramic view from above. Return to Prague. Night free.
Day 3: PRAGUE – CARLOBY BARY
After breakfast, we will depart from Prague to the well-known spa town of Karlovy Vary in West Bohemia. Known for its thermal springs. In the 14th century it was named “Royal City” by Emperor Charles the 4th, and since then it has been established as a meeting place for personalities of letters, arts and politics. Crossing the main pedestrian street beside the Tepla River, we understand why Goethe, Schiller, Beethoven, Bach, Tsar of Russia, etc. walked the same path. After our tour in the city we will have lunch at a local restaurant. Departure to Prague. Night free.
4th DAY: AWAY – KASTROUPOLIS GUESTHOUSE
Breakfast at the hotel and our tour begins with the Strahov monastery and the Loretto one of Prague’s most important monuments, then we head to the magical castrope, the Acropolis of Prague that stretches over the hill of Malá Strána and end up in the impressive Gothic temple Ag. Vitos and in the “basilica” of Ag. Georgiou. After our tour we will have a 2-hour cruise on the Voltava River where we will have the chance to admire Prague from another point of view. The cruise includes a buffet lunch. After lunch you have free time for a walk in town.
